UK move to recognise Palestinian state is a diplomatic crowbar to revive peace process

Prime Minister Sir Kerr Starmer declares that Britain will recognize that the Palestinian state is a major change in foreign policy in the United Kingdom.

The presentation of recognition if Israel takes “fundamental steps to end the horrific situation in Gaza, agree to a ceasefire and adhere to long -term peace, and revive the possibility of a two -state solution.”

Netanyahu denies that Israel has caused hunger and disaster in Gaza. If he accepted Britain’s conditions to postpone it, his government would have disintegrated. It depends on the support of volunteer nationalist extremists who want to include the occupied lands and forcing the Palestinians to leave, not to give them independence.

But Netanyahu is not their prisoner. He built a profession that opposes a two -state solution, an idea that peace can be built by establishing an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel. Earlier this month, he said that the Palestinian state would be a “launch platform” for more October 7 attempts to destroy Israel.

Netanyahu hopes for strong support for the American government. Its position is that recognition of the Palestinian state is now rewarding terrorism.

Donald Trump told the correspondents back to the United States after a golf comma in Scotland that he had not supported Britain’s move.

The question of Palestinian sovereignty can become another factor to dismantle the Atlantic relations.
