House Oversight CommitteeSuccessive sets of photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate have been released, revealing intimate moments from the life of the convicted child exploiter and his connections to the rich and powerful.
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released 19 photos on Friday morning, and later released nearly 80 more, which they said were part of more than 95,000 photos the US Congressional Committee received from Epstein’s estate after a subpoena.
The images include never-before-seen photos of Epstein on his private island and photos of him with high-profile figures such as US President Donald Trump.
The US Department of Justice is approaching a deadline next week to release all documents related to Epstein.
The Justice Department’s authorization is separate from the files released by Congress, which is conducting its own investigation into Epstein and is requesting documents and photos from his estate as part of the investigation.
The Justice Department has until December 19 to release all documents related to the Epstein case. This deadline comes from a bill passed by Congress and signed by President Trump last month after months of pressure from his “MAGA – Make America Great Again” base.
Despite this Justice Department legal requirement, Democrats on the committee said Friday: “In the interest of transparency, we will continue to release photos from Epstein’s estate.”
The new photos on Friday mark the second time the commission has released photos from its investigation into Epstein this month. These new photos include intimate photos of Epstein, including one of him in a bathtub and another showing sex toys. It also shows him with powerful people, including former President Bill Clinton and tech billionaire Bill Gates.
Epstein’s association with several high-profile figures, coupled with many unanswered questions about the case and his 2019 suicide in a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, fueled online conspiracies and accusations of a government cover-up.
No additional context or details are included in the newly released photos, so it’s not clear when, why or where many of the photos were taken or who took them. Simply appearing in files related to Epstein is not an indication of wrongdoing.
Also included in the newly released photos are photos from Epstein’s sunny estate in the US Virgin Islands, showing multiple rooms — including one with a dental chair surrounded by sculptures of mustachioed men on the walls.
There is a photo of an orange pumpkin with a blonde wig that has been sculpted into Trump’s likeness. Above it is a sign that says: “Trumpkin. Make Halloween Great Again.”
In the first batch of photos posted earlier on Friday, Epstein was seen with several high-profile figures, none of whom have yet commented. Many of them have previously denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
“It is time to end the White House cover-up and get justice for Jeffrey Epstein’s survivors and his powerful friends,” Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the congressional committee, said in a statement.
He added: “These disturbing photos raise more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files now.”
Republicans, who make up the majority on the committee, accused Democrats of “carefully selecting images and making targeted edits to create a false narrative about President Trump.”
The White House called this version a “Democratic hoax” against Trump that has been “debunked time and time again.” Trump has argued for months that the Epstein saga was a distraction engineered by his critics to divert attention from the accomplishments of his administration.
Trump had been pressing Republicans to move forward but failed to prevent his party from approving a measure that would force the Justice Department to release all files in the investigation.
Trump was a friend of Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, but was not accused of any wrongdoing as part of the investigations into his former friend.
According to Trump, the couple had a falling out in the early 2000s, two years before Epstein was first arrested. The White House also suggested that the fallout was linked to Epstein’s behavior, and that Trump had kicked him out of his Florida resort because he was “creepy.”
Trump appeared in three of the photos published on Friday. One photo showed him standing next to a woman whose face was obscured.
Another photo showed Trump standing next to Epstein as he spoke with model Ingrid Senhiff at the 1997 Victoria’s Secret Gala in New York — a photo that was already publicly available.
House Oversight CommitteeA third photo showed Trump smiling with several women, whose faces were also retouched, on either side of him.
An additional photo showed an illustration of the president on red packages next to a sign that read: “Trump Condoms.”

House Oversight CommitteeAmong the photos posted was what appeared to be a cropped photo of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor next to Bill Gates. A full version of the photo, which was available on photo agency Getty Images, showed King Charles, then Prince of Wales, on the right side of the photo.
Getty Images’ caption said the photo was taken during a summit during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London in April 2018.
Getty ImagesFormer Trump advisor Steve Bannon also appeared in some of the photos. He appeared talking with Epstein at a desk, and at another desk, standing next to him in front of a mirror.
House Oversight CommitteeA third photo showed him speaking with director Woody Allen.
A photo showed former US President Bill Clinton standing next to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted in 2021 for her role in facilitating the abuse of the disgraced financier.
The photo also shows two other people, whose identities the BBC has not yet identified, and Clinton appears to be bearing their signatures.
Clinton has denied any wrongdoing regarding Epstein. In 2019, a company spokesperson said he “knew nothing about the horrific crimes” to which Epstein had pleaded guilty.
Other notable figures appearing in the photos include American economist Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz and businessman Richard Branson. Not all photos show these individuals in the company of Epstein.
The president was friends with Epstein, but said they had a falling out in the early 2000s, years before he was first arrested.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing regarding Epstein. Asked Friday about the new photos, he said a lot of people knew and had photos taken with Epstein, adding that it was “no big deal.”
