The Iranian judiciary says that Israel has struck the notorious Taraman prison and damaged parts of the facility, which carries many political detainees.
The Mazan Judicial News Agency reported that the situation was “under control” after the attack, which he said was violating international law. State TV shots showed the first respondents with a victim of stretch and searching for survivors under a flat building.
The Israeli Defense Minister said that he struck the “goals of the regime and government repression” throughout Tehran, including Evin.
The Foreign Minister in France said that the prisoner’s strike was “unacceptable” because it was at risk the lives of two of its citizens detained there.
The Israeli army also said on Monday that it made the ways to access the uranium enrichment station, which is located south of the capital. This came a day after the US aircraft were dropped “super” on an underground attachment.
Meanwhile, Iranian ballistic missiles hit various sites throughout Israel, including an industrial zone in the coastal city of Ashdod, near the power plant.
Ten days ago, Israel launched an air campaign against Iran, saying it aims to remove what was called “existential threats” to the country’s nuclear and ballet missile programs.
The Iranian Ministry of Health says that the Israeli strikes have killed about 500 people so far, although the human rights group has placed the death toll in 950.
Iranian missile strikes on Israeli cities killed 24 people, according to the Israeli authorities.

Evin Prison includes thousands of men and women, including prominent political dissidents, human rights defenders, journalists, dual and foreign citizens.
Residents of the area surrounding the Persian BBC population density were told that there was a strong explosion on Monday that broke the windows of nearby houses.
One of the video verified in the damaged vehicles and debris spread across a street, while another showed great damage to the Moghadas General Office, a private security branch located inside the prison complex.
It is not clear the number of existing injuries, and whether civilians are among them.
However, the Public Prosecutor’s office is usually filled during working hours with relatives of guests and lawyers as well as prosecutors and judges.
The pictures reviewed by the BBC Persian showed that the injured people who were visiting their prisoners were imprisoned at the time of the strike.
According to what was reported, the prisoners in the women’s department in Evin were their families that the ceiling had been damaged and that panic broke out between the prisoners, although they had not reported any injuries.
However, in Article 4, the shock from the explosion was said to have caused injuries to several men who were inside the prison library.

Amnesty International said it was “very ordeal” through reports from Evin.
The Human Rights Group warned, “The attack on civilian things is deliberately prohibited under international humanitarian law and will rise to the point of crime of war.”
Jean -Nouil Barrot, France’s Foreign Minister, also condemned the strike as “unacceptable”, saying that he had claimed French citizens “a hostage detention” in prison on charges of espionage.
Nazanin Zagari Ratcliffe, an Iranian British woman who has been imprisoned for years in Evin, told the BBC that she felt anxious after the strike.
“When you are in prison, your home becomes. When I heard this morning, Evin Prison was bombed, I felt severe pain in my heart. When I released, I left a piece of my heart there.”
She said she made the “most amazing friendship” with his fellow prisoners.
“For me, believing that these people who stumble in prison are afraid, shocks, and anxiety, but also for people abroad – who may not know what they are going through – makes me feel sick,” she added.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the Israeli army attacked “the targets of the regime and the repressive authorities in the heart of Tehran with an unprecedented force” on Monday.
He said that the targets included Evin, the headquarters of the Passage Resistance Force, which helps to suppress the local opposition, and the headquarters of the internal security in the Force of the strong Islamic revolution guard (IRGC), as well as what he described as “ideological headquarters” and destroying Israel “around the clock in the Palestinian box.
The semi -official Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that the hour – which dates back to the days until 2040, based on the predictions of 2015 by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khanini that the Jewish state “stops existence” – within 25 years, the Jewish state did not stop.
The Israeli army said that its fighting planes targeted many military command centers – including the IRGC “revolution”, which was appointed to defend Tehran from security threats.

The Israeli army also said on Monday that it “was struck to obstruct the ways of accessing the Fordo enrichment site.”
President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the American air strike, which includes massive, penetrated bombs (MP), “the attached”, as the centrifugal waterfalls were about 80 meters (260 feet) under the ground, enriching uranium to 60 % purity.
Increded uranium is used between 3 % and 5 % purity for making fuel for nuclear power plants, but 60 % is only a short technical step away from the degree of weapons.
Iran accused the United States of not showing any respect for international law and said it had already postponed Fordo before the attack. It seems that satellite photos from last Thursday show the goods trucks that leave the site.
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Monday that the drilling is visible in Fordo, which indicated the use of munitions that penetrate the land.
“Given the explosive load that has been used, and the highly sensitive nature of central glories, it is expected to have very significant damage,” said Rafael Grossi at a meeting of the Global Monitoring Board in Vienna.
He said that the International Atomic Energy Agency noted that the additional buildings on the nuclear site were subjected to US cruise missiles on Sunday, including some related to the process of converting uranium, in addition to the entrances to the tunnels used to store fertilized materials.
He added that the United States told the International Atomic Energy Agency that it had used the Earth’s penetration bombs in a blow to the uranium underground enrichment factory in Natanz.
Grussia called for granting his agency to reach Iranian nuclear sites to “calculate” the country’s inventory of enriched uranium. At the end of May, she said that Iran has 60 % fertilized materials to make nine nuclear weapons.
When it began to hit Iran, the Israeli army said that the intelligence that showed Iran had recently made “tangible progress” towards producing components of a nuclear bomb.
Iran denied this claim and insisted that its nuclear program was completely peaceful.
It is widely believed that Israel has nuclear weapons, although it does not confirm or deny this.
June 23, 2025: A previous version of this article included a video clip claiming to be CCTV shots for an explosion in the Evin Prison portal. The video was played on the Iranian government media and the Israeli Foreign Minister shared it on social media. We have initially achieved the video through geographical location and repetition tests, but we are now doubting that it may have been created. The video was removed while we were working with forensic experts for further investigation of its authenticity, and we have removed a sign of CCTV from the text of the article.
