ReutersAn Israeli official said that Israel is calling for the release of all the fifty hostages held in Gaza, and one of the Israeli officials said whether he would accept a new shooting suggestion for 60 days, which Hamas agreed on Monday.
The official added that Israel’s position “according to the principles developed by the Council of Ministers to end the war,” the official added, without expressing the plan explicitly from the brokers Qatar and Egypt.
Qatar said the proposal, which will witness the issuance of about half of the hostages, was “almost identical” for an American proposal that Israel had previously accepted.
The Palestinian sources said that 10 living hostage and 18 dead hostages will be delivered, while the two sides negotiated a permanent ceasefire and the return of other hostages.
Israel believes only 20 of 50 hostages are still alive after 22 months of war.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly did not comment on the proposal, but he said on Monday that Hamas was “under tremendous pressure.”
Later this week, the Israeli Council of Ministers is expected to approve the army’s plan to occupy Gaza City, as the intense Israeli strikes have already pushed thousands of people to flee.
Netanyahu announced the intention of Israel to conquer all Gaza – including the areas where most of its 2.1 million populations have resorted – after indirect talks with Hamas in the ceasefire deal last month.
On Monday night, Hamas statement announced that the armed group and other Palestinian factions had agreed to a ceasefire proposal presented by Egyptian mediators and Qatari to their delegations in Cairo the day before.
Hamas official, Taher Al -Nono, told Al -Arabi TV that they had not requested any amendments to the proposal, which he described as “a partial deal that leads to a comprehensive deal.”
He also stressed that on the first day of its implementation, negotiations will begin with the aim of agreeing to a permanent ceasefire.
Majid Alni, a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry in Qatar, told reporters in Doha on Tuesday that the proposal was “98 %” similar to the introduction presented by the American envoy Steve Whitkov in June.
Ansari said: “It is within the limits of the Witkoff plan … It is a continuation of that process. It is clear that it is in the details in which Satan lies.”
Witkoff suggested a 60 -day truce that would see Hamas release 10 live hostages and 18 hostages in the first and seven days, compared to 125 Palestinian prisoners who spend life provisions in Israeli prisons, 1111 detainees from Gaza and the bodies of 180 Ghazan.
Israel has accepted a Witkev plan, but Hamas rejected it, partly because it did not include a guarantee that the temporary ceasefire would lead to a permanent point.
A BBC Palestinian official told that the Egyptian proposal and Qatar would testify that Hamas launch eight hostages on the first day and two other two on the fifty day. Five dead hostages will be delivered on the seventh day or five others per day 30, and eight others per day 60.
The official said that Israel would release 1,500 detainees from Gaza, in addition to 150 Palestinian prisoners who spend the provisions for life and 50 others spend longer than 15 years.
The official added that the Israeli forces will also withdraw to the Gaza areas, which are between 800 meters and 1.2 km (0.5-0.75 miles) from the ocean with Israel during the truce, but they will remain stationed in the military corridors of Maurraj and Viladelphi in the southern region.
ReutersOn Tuesday afternoon, an Egyptian source familiar with the BBC negotiations has not yet received an official response from Israel to the new proposal.
However, the official in the office of Prime Minister Netanyahu told Israeli journalists: “Israel’s policy remains consistent and does not change. Israel is calling for the issuance of all fifty hostages according to the principles developed by the Council of Ministers to end the war.”
“We are in the last stage of the defeat of Hamas and we will not leave any hostage behind it.”
Although the statement was not a clear rejection of the proposal, it indicates that Israel may want to negotiate more.
On Saturday night, the office of Prime Minister Netanyahu made a similar statement saying that Israel will only agree on an agreement, provided that all the hostages will be released in one “and that the conditions for ending the war included the disarmament of Hamas, the delivery of the Gaza Authority, the Israeli control over the vicinity of Gaza, and the installation of non -Hamas other than the penis.
Netanyahu said in a video on Monday that he discussed with senior Israeli military leaders “their plans related to Gaza City and the completion of our duties.”
“Like you, I hear the reports in the media, and among them you can get one impression – Hamas is subject to tremendous pressure,” he added.
The Prime Minister faces pressure from the far -right coalition partners who want to continue the war until the defeat of Hamas and then Gaza.
Finance Minister Paisalel Soutrich said that Israel should not accept a partial deal “that gives up half of the hostages, which may lead to the suspension of the war in defeat.”
“It is prohibited to surrender and give the lifebar to the enemy,” he added.
The families of the hostages and the majority of the Israeli public. In the meantime, Netanyahu wants to agree with Hamas to end the war now and bring all hostages to the home.
“About a month ago, we were closer than ever to sign a deal. Witkoff’s broad lines would have put Israel in extensive negotiations,” said Enaf Zanguker, who is believed to be among those who are still alive in captivity.
“Netanyahu … deliberately implemented conditions as an obstacle.”
The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took hostage.
At least 62,064 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health in the region.
Most of the people of Gaza were displaced several times; More than 90 % of homes are estimated at damage or destruction; Healthcare, water, sanitation and hygiene systems collapsed; Universal food security experts have warned that “the worst star scenario currently plays” due to lack of food.
