First on Fox: that Illegal immigrant He holds a New York State commercial driver’s license marked “NO NAME GIVEN” and was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Oklahoma, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
The agency said it is working in cooperation with the US Department of Transportation as well as state and local law enforcement to keep illegal truck drivers off US highways following the high-profile incident involving an illegal Indian. Harjinder Singh.
Working with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, ICE arrested another Indian illegal alien named Anmol Anmol. Anmol had a New York commercial driver’s license with his first name listed as “no name given,” the Department of Homeland Security said.
A redacted photo of the license obtained by Fox News Digital shows it is a Class A CDL issued in April and is valid through May 2028. There is a star in the upper right corner of the license, indicating it is a Real ID.

Anmol was arrested by ICE on September 23, 2025, during a routine weighbridge check on I-40. Records checks by Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed that Anmol, an illegal alien from India, entered the country in 2023. The Department of Homeland Security said he was released by the Biden administration and entered the country.
Anmol has now been placed in removal procedures.
Commenting on Anmol’s arrest, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin said, “Not only does New York fail to verify whether applicants who apply to drive 18-wheelers are U.S. citizens, it also fails to obtain the full legal names of the individuals to whom it issues commercial driver’s licenses.”
“Allowing illegal aliens to obtain commercial driver’s licenses to operate 18-wheelers and transport hazardous materials on American roads is reckless and extremely dangerous to public safety. Thanks to the successful 287g partnership between ICE and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Anmol Anmol no longer poses a threat to drivers,” McLaughlin added.
“DHS works with our state and local partners to keep illegal alien truck drivers who often do not know basic traffic laws off our highways.”

However, a New York Department of Motor Vehicles official disputed the license holder’s illegal status, telling Fox News Digital that the individual with the license has legal status in the United States through a federal work permit issued in March and “was issued a license that complies with federal guidelines.”
“This commercial driver’s license was issued in accordance with all appropriate procedures, including verification of the individual’s identity through federally issued documents,” the official said, adding that “it is not uncommon for individuals from other countries to have only one name.”
“The procedures for doing so are clearly stated in the USCIS policy manual,” the official said, adding that “it is important to note that the federal documents also include an ‘anonymity’ note.”
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Oklahoma Republican Gov. Stitt said that “if New York wants to distribute CDLs to undocumented immigrants who don’t have a given name, that’s on them. The minute they cross into Oklahoma, they’re answering to our laws.”
The arrest was part of a three-day operation, from September 23-25, targeting public safety threats along Interstate 40 in Oklahoma. ICE is able to work alongside the Oklahoma Highway Patrol because of the state’s 287(g) program, which enables state and local law enforcement agencies to cooperate directly with ICE.

During that period, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested 120 illegal aliens, 91 of whom were driving a commercial vehicle on commercial driver’s licenses issued by Sanctuary countries. The office of Republican Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt said the operation arrested illegal immigrants from India, Uzbekistan, China, Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Mauritania.
State’s office said the illegal detainees pose a risk to public safety “by operating 80,000-pound commercial vehicles without proper verification.”
According to the Department of Homeland Security, other illegal immigrants arrested during the operation included foreigners with prior convictions for drunken driving, money laundering, human smuggling, assault, conspiracy to distribute cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful re-entry into the United States.
Among those detained is Guatemalan citizen Kevin Ivan Escobar Dionisio, who has a criminal history including charges of human smuggling and money laundering. Another Guatemalan illegal was arrested during the operation, Alfredo Sanic Chebix, who had previous assault charges.

Adrian Betancourt Rodriguez, from Cuba, was also arrested and convicted of selling cocaine.
Firoz Khamidov, from Russia, was also arrested and charged with forgery.
This comes amid national concerns about illegal aliens operating commercial trucks on U.S. highways, following the high-profile case of Harjinder Singh, charged with three counts of vehicular homicide in St. Lucie County, Florida, for his involvement in a fatal crash on August 12.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Singh held a commercial driver’s license issued in California.
The US Department of Transportation said Singh obtained a civilian driver’s license (CDL) despite failing an English proficiency assessment and correctly identifying only one out of four road signs on the same test.

Singh’s case has raised national concerns about how widespread a public safety issue illegal aliens driving on American roads can be.
Commenting on Operation Guardian Sweep, ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheehan said illegal aliens “have no business operating 18-wheelers on America’s highways.”

Sheehan said the operation “clearly demonstrates how federal and local law enforcement agencies can work together to make America safe again” and that “our roads are now safer with these illegal aliens no longer driving.”
It encouraged more state and local law enforcement agencies to join the 287(g) program “to help remove public safety threats and obtain compensation funds available to our law enforcement partners.”
