Gaza now worse than hell on earth, humanitarian chief tells BBC

Gaza has become worse than hell on the ground, as the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross told the BBC.

The International Red Cross is a global humanitarian organization that reduces the suffering in wars for more than a century and a half.

He is also the guard of the Geneva Conventions, a group of international humanitarian law that aims to regulate war behavior and protect civilians and other dead. The latest version, the Fourth Geneva Conference of 1949, was adopted after the Second World War and was aimed at preventing the occurrence of mass killing of civilians again.

“Every state has the right to defend itself,” she said.

The ICRC is the Geneva Convention Guard. The fourth, agreed upon after the Second World War, was designed to protect civilians in wars.
