Governments in the United States and El Salvador announced that El Salvador is somewhat restored to about 250 Venezuelans detained in exchange for the citizens of the United States detained in Venezuela.
The state in Central America has exchanged prisoners – immigrants who were deported from the United States and imprisoned them at the famous center for the terror of terrorism (CECOT) – to release 10 American citizens from Venezuela.
The transformer of migrants who leave Al Salvador is scheduled to arrive at Maiquetía, Venezuela later on Friday.
A senior US administration official told reporters that, with the issue, there is no longer any American citizen kept by the Nicholas Maduro government in Venezuela.
In a publication on Friday, Salvadori leader Nayeb Boucley said: “Today, we handed over all the Venezuelan citizens detained in our country, accusing that we are part of the criminal organization, TDA.
He said that the exchange took place in return for a “large number of Venezuelan political prisoners” as well as American citizens.
In a separate position, US Secretary of State Mark Rubio confirmed the exchange and thanked the agent and US officials.
Quoting privacy concerns, US officials have so far refused to identify any of the American citizens who have been issued as part of the deal.
CBS, the BBC, stated that one of them is the former navy, Cellaber Wilbert Joseph Kastaneda, who was arrested in Venezuela last year during a personal trip.
The Venezuelan who was originally re -by -the -United States was deported under the Trump administration to El Salvador earlier this year, under the law of foreign enemies 1798, which is granted an American president to detain and deport indigenous people or “enemy” citizens without usual operations.
Among the Venezuelan who released Oscar Gonzalez Beneeda, who lives the mother Gertrodis in West Venezuela.
BBC told a voice message that she was “very happy that my heart is overflowing,” adding: “I am very grateful to God, to the Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro to fight for their liberation, for the lawyers there in El Salvador.”
Oscar was working as tiles and tried carpets when he was detained by the immigration authorities in Dallas. Initially he understood that he was going to a detention facility in Texas, but he was one of 252 deportations in Cecot.
Gertrdis has always insisted that Oscar had no connection to the Tren De Aragua gang.

A senior Trump administration official told reporters on Friday that Al -Salvador made the “independent decision” to release Venezuelan prisoners – which is considered a gang members – for humanitarian reasons.
Some Venezuelan families denied that they had a gang link.
The official added that the complex deal was “up to the wire”, and it was only confirmed to journalists as soon as the plane that carries the citizens of the United States was left with the Venezuelan airspace on Friday afternoon.
“We are dealing with a system in which there is always a degree of uncertainty on their part, and a degree of uncertainty on our part,” the official said. “At the end of the day, everything is fine, everything is fine and everyone is on their way to their reunification with their loved ones.”
The relations between the UK and the US President Donald Trump have increased significantly in recent months, especially since Bokley has agreed to detention of American immigrants.
The exchange that the El Salvador highlights that the strong relationship between Trump and Bouquelle – “the most amazing dictator of the world.”
The administration official said, “This deal was not possible without President Bokali,” the administration official said. “We expand our deep deep gratitude.”
Salvadori leader Trump visited the White House in April, when the couple looked friendly while they were talking to journalists, often laughing and rusting jokes together.
Bukele supported the deportation of immigrants from the United States to the security prison in El Salvador.
Trump said at the time that the Undersecretary “really helps” the United States by facilitating this belief, as the President of El Salvadori replied that his country was “very eager to help.”
Almost at the same time, for the first time an agent suggested that the Venezuelan deportees replace the “political prisoners”, including family members of Venezuelan opposition figures, journalists and activists detained in an electoral government campaign in 2024.
He wrote to Maduro on X.
“However, I suggest a humanitarian agreement that includes returning it to 100 % of 252 Veneers who were deported, in exchange for the launch of an identical number (252) for thousands of political prisoners they keep.”
While the Maduro government rejected the deal, the administration official said they saw the proposal as a “critical opportunity” to restore American citizens.
The senior administration official said that although the deal is only related to American citizens reserved in Venezuela, the Trump administration is still actively working on the launch of “dozens” of political prisoners kept by the Maduro government.
The United States currently does not have any official diplomatic ties with Venezuela, which the United States has imposed severe sanctions.
The administration official said that the lifting of the sanctions was not part of the “conversation” about the prisoner’s swap.
The issue of deportation to El Salvador was highlighted earlier this year by the case of Kilmar Angogo Garcia, a Maryland man who was accidentally deported to El Salvador, where he claimed that he was “severe beating” and “torture” when he was accepted in Sikout.
The Trump administration had earlier claimed Mr. ábrego García – a citizen of El Salvador – was a member of the Salvadorian gang, MS -13, which his lawyer and family have severely denied.
He was returned to the United States in July to counter human trafficking – which was not guilty of it
