“When he won, it was shocking,” Fox said of Mamdani’s victory in the mayoral primary. “More and more things started to come to light about his past and his family to the point where it was nauseating to me that someone who was so anti-Semitic, with so little job experience, could be so close to becoming mayor of New York City.”

Fox added that anyone put in the same position with the same views would have frightened him just as much and that his jibes towards Mamdani had nothing to do with his Islamic background.

“I’m not worried about having a Muslim mayor, I’m worried about having a mayor who is anti-Semitic and pro-terrorism,” Fox said.

“During his failed rap career, he was rapping about the Holy Land Five,” Fox said. “He would say: Shout to the Holy Land five.”

I don’t think he’s a terrorist, but he’s a terrorist sympathizer, which is as close as you can get to being a terrorist. “This is very terrifying.”

As a New Yorker, and beyond his Jewish background, Fox said he is sad for New York City and fears dying under Mamdani’s mayorship.

Defund the police “It doesn’t work. Adding cops works,” he said of Mamdani’s previous comments about defunding the police.

“This is not a Republican or Democratic issue, but Mamdani has gone so far left on the crime issue that I know there will be New Yorkers who die on his watch,” Fox said. “I’m fine. I’m the CEO.”
