Newly released text messages between Blake Lively And Taylor Swift offers a first behind-the-scenes look at how the actress and her inner circle view Justin Baldoni as the “It Ends With Us” legal battle continues.
Swift called Baldoni a “b—-,” while Lively vented about the pop star in shocking texts revealed in unsealed legal documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

Text messages from April 2023 provide additional context for a meeting between Blake Lively, Taylor Swift, and Justin Baldoni This was first mentioned in the lawsuit the actor filed in January 2025 against the “Gossip Girl” star.

Taylor Swift sent Blake Lively a text message on December 21, 2024 — the day Lively’s allegations against Baldoni became public knowledge.

Taylor Swift: “A revocation has never been reversed so quickly. You do not understand how rare this is. Evidence must be obtained and steps taken to highlight this fact.”

Swift was first taken to court and went back and forth in an attempt to prove Baldoni’s claims that Lively had taken control of the film’s production.
“As we have stated throughout, and reflected in our clients’ suggestions, as well as in letters from Sony discussing Ms. Lively’s conduct, the evidence does not support these allegations as a matter of law,” Baldoni’s attorney told Fox News Digital in a statement. “A simple reading of the newly released exchange of letters makes the truth abundantly clear. We remain confident in the legal process and the clearing of the names of all Justin Baldoni parties.”
Lively’s legal team told Fox News Digital that newly released text messages show the actress documented her concerns about Baldoni in real time as early as the spring of 2023.

In its initial complaint, Baldoni’s legal team suggested that the actress used her friendship with the world-famous Swift to threaten him. While working on the film, Lively insisted on rewriting the infamous scene. Baldoni was hesitant about the idea, but told the actress he would “take a look at what she put together,” according to the complaint. Lively then invited Baldoni to her home in New York City, where the actor said he felt that Swift and Reynolds pressured him to use the rewritten scene.
“Later, Baldoni felt compelled to text Lively to tell her he liked her pages and didn’t need Reynolds and her famous boyfriend to pressure him,” the complaint said.
“I really like what you did. It really helps a lot. It makes it more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor) [emoji] You are truly a talent in all areas. “I’m so excited and grateful to be doing this together,” Baldoni said, according to the complaint.
A Swift spokesperson previously denied that the pop star had any connection to the 2024 film other than its licensing. Song “My Tears Bounced” Which appeared in the film’s trailer and was used in one scene.
