Watch: Main Moments of the Chinese Military Displacement

Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un stood on the shoulder to the shoulder for the first time on Wednesday, before a huge military parade in central Beijing.

This show, which represented 80 years of China’s victory over Japan in World War II, witnessed that Beijing reveals a group of new military devices-including a new nuclear ballistic missile, and a new boredom filled with the road to connect non-sound weapons, a new laser weapon, and even the “robotic dog”.

This comes at a time when Shi is seeking to showcase Beijing’s strength on the international stage – not only the second largest economy in the world, but also as a parallel cosmic of the United States such as Trump’s tariff in the global economic and political system.

Five BBC correspondents evaluate the importance of the Wednesday procession – what does that mean, why it matters, and what the scene tells us about the “new world order”.

A permanent picture of China – and the world

One of the most permanent pictures of this military parade occurred before the first cannon launch.

The eleventh president welcomes North Korea, Kim Jong Un, for a long handshake, then moved to Russia’s greeting, Vladimir Putin, before the three walking together to watch the show, was a transparent political theater.

This was the first time that all three leaders looked at together, and they really chose their moments.

But this meeting, not only the weapons and forces offered, which seem to have attracted the attention of Donald Trump.

Trump published the social truth earlier, accusing Shi of conspiracy against America with others. The Chinese leader said in this speech that his country is on the right side of history.

Wednesday’s show was a scene designed for accuracy, power and patriotism.

Even the choir stood in the ranks of completely equal because it sang “without the Communist Party, there is no modern China.”

The forces hesitated in the past in complete harmony, and each blow to the ground was frequent through the positions of 50,000 guests in Tiananmen Square.

Then the big weapons came, and the crowd reached their phones. New ICBM, laser weapons, even mechanical dogs.

The show on a fly ended a crowd before firing thousands of doves and balloons in the sky over the capital.

This show was not to celebrate the eighty anniversary of the end of World War II just a look at the location of China, or to what extent did China reach.

It has been offered where China will go: Xi plays a world leader’s role ready to stand with two of the world’s most penal leaders.

At his feet, the army that is built to compete with the West.

Trump is outside, something in – and what does that mean for the West

China’s offer to geopolitical power and now this week will not be surprised by Western leaders.

The eleventh president has long sought to place himself in the center of a new global system – which replaces the global, diligent systems that were created after the Second World War.

But two things will send tremors to the bottom of the Western diplomatic spine.

One is the speed that China fills the void that America’s withdrawal left from international standards and institutions.

The global system led by the Chinese, where regional integrity and human rights are estimated less than raw power and economic development, may be uncomfortable for many Western countries.

The way in which the harsh American definitions of India pushed the world’s largest democracy, quickly, to China’s warm embrace of China, the world’s largest tyranny, will be a source of concern.

One of the small crumbs of comfort for the West is that the so -called “axis of turmoil” of Beijing is not united – and India, in particular, which has not been represented in the Wednesday procession, is still at odds with China due to regional conflicts and others.

The bottom line is that the US economic and subversive diplomacy of Donald Trump gives China a huge diplomatic opportunity – one of the eleventh that it seizes with open arms with a summit and procession.

A clear message to Donald Trump

All diplomacy (and optics) are designed in China this week to send a clear message to the Trump administration.

So, you want to make America great again, right? It is America first, is it? Well, we will make a substitute for the US -led demand.

For this reason, we saw the leaders of China, Russia and India smiling together at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit on Sunday and Monday.

This is why Vladimir Putin called Shi Jinping “a real friend”, and the Chinese leader called his “old friend” Russian counterpart earlier this week.

This is why Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un appear together in the military parade on Wednesday.

In short: In the geopolitical universe, the various forces are compatible as a budget for American hegemony.

This does not mean that all of these countries and leaders are at the same wavelength. They are not. The differences remain.

But the direction of travel is clear.

As a version in the news port, Komsomolskaya Pravda announced this week, referring to Russia, China and India: “We will build a new world.”

Weapons that worry the West

From the huge pours, underwater to modern laser weapons that drop drones, the last military procession in China will now be divided and analyzed by Pentagon experts and defense officials all over the world.

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army began a large -scale military update program that witnessed an attachment – and in some areas – bypassing the United States. The superior sound missile that travels more than five times the speed of sound is one as China leads the world.

Dr. Sidhant Kaushal, a leading missile expert at Think Tank Rusi, highlights YJ -17 – a non -audio -sounding vehicle – and YJ -19, a highly high car missile.

China was also investing heavily in artificial intelligence and independent weapons. One example is ajx002: a giant drone, 60 feet (18 meters), underwater.

China’s nuclear arsenal – which is dancing in hundreds of missiles – is still behind Russia and the United States that has thousands, but it is increasing quickly in size as well as finding innovative ways to serve its warheads.
