Rumors are circulating about the former Prince AndrewYork’s daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, are disparaging the York family’s credibility, according to royal experts.

last week, Daily Mail I spoke to the producer behind Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s disastrous interview with BBC Newswhite, Sam McAllister. She claimed that Princess Beatrice was the family’s “rainmaker”. This term is typically used to describe a person who makes large financial deals, according to the outlet.

“In my view, when Princess Beatrice unexpectedly came to the direct negotiations, which happened just three days before this interview actually took place, I called her a ‘rainmaker’.

“It was because she was protecting her father’s interests. She was very polite, very kind, very friendly,” McAllister said. But in that room with the people who were there, she was the person who had her best interests at heart.”

Helena Chard, a British royal expert, told Fox News Digital that Beatrice attended a meeting before the Newsnight interview “as a concerned daughter.”

“To everyone’s surprise, Andrew arrived with a supportive Beatrice. Beatrice, the glue of the Newsnight set-up, helped the camaraderie and positive, relaxed atmosphere. Beatrice’s strong presence reassured Andrew that all would be well, and that the Newsnight interview was a good idea and a good way to clear his name,” Chard began.

She continued: “Andrew’s credibility has declined. In hindsight, it would have been ridiculous not to have a legal representative fighting Andrew’s corner. Many believe that Andrew’s daughter Beatrice, a skilled and networked negotiator, acted as a polemicist with him. This is a bold insinuation. She attended a key meeting a few days before the interview. However, she attended as a caring daughter.”

Hilary Fordwich, another royal expert, told Fox News Digital that Andrew’s decision to rely on his daughter proves his arrogance.

“It also indicates further arrogance on the part of Andrew that he did not see the need for first class professional advice and counsel. His lack of proper preparation as well as a complete disregard for any risk or crisis management counsel contributed to the disastrous outcome of the ‘car accident’ encounter,” Fordwich said.

She continued: “There is a significant degree of anti-York sentiment in the UK, as recent polls suggest. Her credibility and any future work and acceptance of the charity at all hinges on distancing herself from Andrew’s scandals. She will be sidelined from all future royal engagements, with Ascot being the latest example of this. The York brand has been washed out.”

A family friend of Beatrice and Eugenie He told people They “want to keep their royal status. It’s their identity.” After Andrew’s titles were stripped in 2025, there were questions about whether his daughters would be able to retain their titles.

“The sisters were seen during times of the pandemic and later, during Charles and Kate’s cancer treatment, were seen as a very useful asset in covering royal engagements that took some of the burden off the senior royals,” Turner said.

“So it will stand them in good stead for the future. Charles, Camilla and William are known to have a soft spot for the two girls.”

Fordwich told Fox News Digital that the royal family tends to distance itself from all controversy and that “the York family is very toxic.”

Chard said the British people had “already run out of patience”, which could keep Andrew’s daughters out of the public eye.

“Princess Beatrice continues to be subject to intense media scrutiny, and is said to have been frightened and tearful by the backlash as she loosely helped organize the interviews. Behind the scenes, we are moving toward a diluted monarchy,” she began.

Chard continued, “The general consensus is that we won’t see much of Beatrice and Eugenie in the UK. However, their royal status will remain intact within some circles, not just UK royal circles. The UK public is already running out of patience.”
