Fox News Digital spoke to Guy Fieri on Sunday at his event – Guy Flavortown Tailgate – before the Super Bowl.
“Before I started coming to the Super Bowl, I was always the guy who had the big party at home and always got the best food. Now I get a chance to come here and put on the Flavortown Tailgate, and it takes it to the next level,” he said.
“Not everyone gets to go to the Super Bowl, so we’re trying to create an experience here so everyone can feel that energy and feel that constant excitement, and as you can see with all the great sponsors and all the great support — we had 15,000 fans show up. 3,000… 3,500 veterans and first responders to get their tickets first,” Fieri added.
“That’s it, man. This is a celebration… I think the greatest game in the world… the pinnacle of the sport, so it’s going to be a fun time,” Vieri said.
At Saturday night’s Fanatics Party, Fox News Digital caught up with Jamie Foxx, who said he looked up to Bad Bunny.
The actor explained that he saw the artist at a concert two years ago: “Man, when I saw Bad Bunny at the concert, I said: Oh my God.” I don’t speak Spanish. But I had a ball, so I was like, ‘Oh yeah.’
At the Fanatics Party on Friday, actor Kevin Costner interrupted Fieri during an interview with Fox News Digital, and the two bonded over their shared passion for giving back to veterans and first responders.
“I heard you were doing this amazing program in Santa Barbara for veterans and first responders, and I heard a group of my buddies talking about how you and I were supposed to team up,” Fieri told Costner.

He went on to call Costner “the real deal” for what he does for veterans and first responders, adding that he “wants[s] “To help because we should celebrate all the people who keep this country free.”
The Guy Fieri Foundation’s motto is “serving those who serve us,” Fieri said.
“So we walk around, when there’s a disaster, all we do is feed the first responders,” he said. “And then, when we don’t have disasters, we go around the country and learn about everything that happened First responders and veterans. Go to veterans homes, go to military bases, etc. I heard about your show in Santa Barbara. I would love to do that.”
