Democratic Party’s ‘Five Families’ battle for control and influence

the Democratic Party It’s a very old and revered institution, and as such, it has a lot of rules, a lot of barriers, and yes, this thing of theirs, it has centers of power. You can even call them families.

Now, these families, so to speak, are not at war with each other, at least not usually, but they have their own interests and priorities, and sometimes conflicts arise. To truly understand the party, and where it is headed, you have to understand the five families that lead it.

So, let’s take a look, one by one. What crews are boarding? Which is a mess? What will that mean for the party as it seeks to control Congress and the White House, and put every agency in the country in its back pocket?

San Francisco Boss: Nancy Pelosi. nightmare: Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom

Over the past several years, Nancy “The Gavel” Pelosi has positioned herself San Francisco familyonce a marginal backwater, is now in the strongest five. Not only did Pelosi knock down longtime party chairman Joey “Knaps” Biden’s second-term ambitions, she tapped Kamala “Cackles” Harris of Frisco to replace him.

Old Lady Pelosi may no longer be Speaker of the House, but who in the party do we find leading today’s presidential primary ballot? Why, it’s none other than Gavin “Peacock” Newsom, another San Francisco healer, and a testament to her family’s immense strength. While the family has traditionally been the most left-leaning in the party, this title is facing a challenge from the northern family.

The Minneapolis family, led by Tim “Whitey” Walz – a very well-off, as we discover every day – is a family that outshines San Francisco’s legendary left wing. Ilhan “Dakhla” Omar is the perfect example. Her political vision is a vision of reparations, where through legislation, or sometimes, you know, just graft, money from U.S.-born Americans goes to immigrant groups like the Somali community in Minnesota that won’t assimilate.

Key to the Minneapolis family’s work is “kneeling” Mayor Jacob Frey, although he was nearly ousted in the last election by a Somali politician he regularly flirts with. Fry’s main mission is to show white Minnesotans and Americans in general why their culture must be abandoned and replaced with the corrupting blessings of the Third World. This family is small at the moment, but it is very dangerous.

There is no family with more recent history or political power in Washington than New York, and yet, it finds itself in disarray. Even with “5-term” Schumer in charge of the Democrats in the Senate, and Hakim “The Planner” Jeffries running the party in the House, it’s the younger capo who’s making the moves on that power.

Alexandria “The Face” Ocasio-Cortez He assembled a socialist staff headed by Mayor-elect Zahran “Smiley” Mamdaniand this is sweeping the election left and right even as Schumer and Jeffries try to protect their followers like “Rich Boy” Dan Goldman from primary defeats. One major point of tension is Israel, which always makes money for its partners, but rubs up-and-comers in the wrong direction.

In normal times, Barack Obama “Barry” Obama would be the national leader of the presidents as a former two-term president, but his grip on the party appears to be waning these days. This is largely because Barry’s Chicago-style party traditionally hides its far-left ambitions in the face of moderation. This is exactly what Ram “The Suit” Emanuel is trying to be. The problem is that the party’s voters no longer want a socialist in the guise of a banker, but rather they only want a socialist.

Clyburn has tested the presidential ambitions of socialist Bernie “The Mittens” Sanders several times now, but will he be able to fend off the next generation of Sanders? Only time, as they say, will tell.

Over the next two years, the five families will move up the ranks to maintain their stake in the National Party. But only one will produce a presidential candidate who has the chance to make American voters an offer they can’t refuse.
