Humanitarian groups have raised growing concerns about the persecution of Christians in parts of Africa.

“We can call it a Christmas tree,” Speed said. “I’ll still go to these malls. I still don’t want to offend people by saying that. But there are many things with different religions. You’re not allowed to criticize someone else’s religion.”
