Left column writer Karen Ata threatened to take legal action against the Washington Post on Wednesday, claiming that she was “now a victim” after her ending earlier this month on social media after her assassination Charlie Kerk.

Atta, who suggested to Bluzki, argued that she would not notice a “white man who adopts violence”, that she was incorrectly ended when the post rejected by the “grave misconduct” on social media that the leadership said that the company’s policy is violating.

Democratic defenders, a group that depicts itself as “a team of non -party experts, all the stars devoted to stopping the attack on democracy and restoring American democracy”, sent a letter on behalf of Attiah to the head of human resources and Wayne Konil, saying that it “will follow all the appropriate appetizers” to end the situation.

“Attiah has not been involved in any misconduct, much less in the“ serious misconduct ”that she claims in your message dated September 11, 2025. Instead, she specifically set the job that she rented to do as an opinion writer and fully behaved according to the social media policy in the position,” as the letter stated.

“I honestly and strongly talked about the issues of vital public interest, and its performance deserves praise – not condemnation – to cause difficult facts in a difficult time,” continued the message. “Mrs. Atta was clear in condemning the killing of Charlie Kirk.”

In the aftermath of Kirk’s tragic assassination, Ata wrote: “He refused to tear my clothes and distort the ashes on my face in mourning to perform a white man to the extent that violence is adopting … not like violence” and “part of what keeps America very violent is to insist that people perform empty care and absence of white men wandering in violence.”

Attiah also re -quoted an old quote of Kirk that made the dead conservative leader look like he was insulting against all black women, although she later admitted that he was specifically about Joy Reid and Michelle Obama.

Attiah also shared an article entitled “Charlie Kerk’s legacy is not worth a mourning”, and insisted that he is the human being “hatred, intolerance and division”.

The four -page message sent to the head of human resources in the Post was called “Atta,” a journalist during a quick news event.

“Mrs. Ata came to her opinions while convicted of the killing of Mr. Kirk, but at the same time she refused to engage in” mourning performance “to a man suffering from black women, put academies in the monitoring lists, and claimed that blacks were better in the era of Jim Crowe, he said the Civil Rights Law, and was promoted about a book called Liberals.” ”

“Lady Attiah presented all these well-backed opinions in the way she hires her position-as an opinion that uses social media to comment on critical issues on this day,” the message continued before she proposed to end the collective negotiation agreement between Guild and Washington-Baltimore News Guild.

“We do not yet know whether the publication has taken this illegal action in starkly at the request of administration officials, although there is a great reason to ask the question. We also intend to investigate the alternative – whether this action has been taken in bad faith that the administration will take or threaten to take some measures against the position.”

“It is related to these decisions, the post or their owner, Jeff BezosHe was severely criticized for transferring the post, especially the editorial page in an attempt to find a way to the good blessings of the administration and to find ways to put money in the pockets of the Trump family through the Amazon, “the message added,” The position he practices must be presented through the PLO, and it must be reconciled from anything else. His administration policies.

The letter announced that the post “had no reasons to end” Atta and said it was “now a victim.”

“In short, in addition to the violation of CBA, Eskat Post for the only black opinion writer raises many disturbing issues, including the first amendment, other legal authorities, and other general political issues,” the letter said.

He concluded that “please inform us if the publication wants to discuss how these errors properly adjust these mistakes.” “If not, we intend to follow all appropriate treatments for them, freedom of the media, and our democracy itself.”
