The United Kingdom and 27 other countries called for an immediate end to the war in Gaza, where they say that the suffering of civilians “has reached new depths.”

A joint statement says that the Israeli aid delivery model is dangerous and condemns what he calls “dotting for aid and inhuman killing of civilians” looking for food and water.

The Hamas -running Ministry of Health in Gaza said that more than 100 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire while waiting for food during the weekend and that 19 others passed away as a result of malnutrition.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel rejected the statement of the countries, saying that it was “separate from reality and sends the wrong message to Hamas.”

The Ministry accused the armed group of spreading lies and undermining the distribution of aid, instead of agreeing to the new ceasefire and issuing the hostages.

There have been many international statements condemning Israel’s tactics in Gaza during the past 21 months of its war with Hamas. But this announcement is noticeable for its frankness.

The signers are the UK foreign ministers and 27 other countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, New Zealand and Switzerland.

The statement begins by announcing that “the war in Gaza must end now.”

Then he warns: “The suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new depths. The Israeli government’s delivery model is dangerous, nurtures instability and deprives gas of human dignity.”

“We condemn the nutritional feeding of aid and inhuman killing of civilians, including children, who seek to meet their basic water and food needs. It is a horrific thing that more than 800 Palestinians were killed while seeking help.”

There were almost daily reports that the Palestinians were killed while waiting for food since May, and when Israel partially reduced the total siege for 11 weeks on delivery operations to Gaza, along with the United States, it helped establish a new aid system run by the Gaza Humanitarian Corporation (GHF) to overcome those in the United Nations.

Israel said that the GHF system, which uses security fighters in the United States to distinguish food parcels from sites within Israeli military areas, prevents the supplies stolen by Hamas.

But the United Nations and its partners refused to cooperate with the regime, saying that it is unsafe and violates the humanitarian principles caused by neutrality, neutrality and independence.

Last Tuesday, the United Nations Human Rights Office said it had recorded 674 killings in the vicinity of GHF auxiliary sites since they started working eight weeks ago. He added that other 19 -year killings were recorded along the United Nations roads and other aid convoys.

On Saturday, 39 people were killed near two GHF sites in Khan Yunis and Rafraa, near, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza. The Israeli army said that its forces fired warning shots to prevent the “suspects” who approached them before opening the sites.

On Sunday, the ministry said that 67 people were killed as they were heading towards a convoy of United Nations aid truck near a transit point in northern Gaza. The Israeli army said that the forces fired warning shots on a “immediate threat”, but they were created in the numbers that were killed.

After the accident, the World Food Program warned that the hunger crisis in Gaza “has reached new levels of despair.”

“People die because of the lack of humanitarian aid. Malnutrition rises with 90,000 women and children in urgent need of treatment,” said the United Nations agency.

Hamas, the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said on Monday that 19 people have passed as a result of malnutrition since Saturday and warned against “mass deaths” in the coming days.

“Hospitals are no longer able to provide food for patients or employees, which many of them cannot financially continue to work because of severe hunger,” Dr. Khalil Al -Dakran, a spokesman for Al -Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al -Ala, told BBC.

“Hospitals cannot provide a single bottle of milk for hunger, because all infant formula has run out of the market,” he added.

The residents also stated that the markets are closed due to lack of food.

“My children cry from hunger all night. They only had a small dish of lentils during the past three days. There was no bread. A kilogram of flour was $ 80 (59 pounds) a week ago,” Mohamed Oud Al -Din, a barber and father of the BBC.

The statement issued by the 27 countries says that the Israeli proposals to move 2.1 million people in Gaza to the so -called “humanitarian city” in the southern Rafih area are unacceptable, noting that “permanent forced displacement is a violation of international humanitarian law.”

They urge Israel, enthusiasm, and the international community to “put this terrible conflict, by immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire.”

They warn that they are “ready to take more measures to support the immediate ceasefire and a political path for security and peace.”

Many see it as a symbol of recognition of the state of Palestine, which is what many countries have done but not all, including the United Kingdom and France.

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman, Orine Marmagen, rejected cash.

He said: “All data and all claims must be directed to the only party responsible for the lack of a deal to release the hostages and a ceasefire: Hamas, who started this war and prolongs it.”

He added: “Instead of agreeing to the ceasefire, Hamas is busy managing a campaign to publish lies about Israel. At the same time, Hamas is deliberately acting to increase friction and damage to civilians who come to receive humanitarian aid.”

The Israeli Military Authority, responsible for coordinating aid, said that Israel “is acting in accordance with international law and leading efforts to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza in coordination with international organizations.”

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the United Nations agencies appealed to join her work, while also blamed her for “stopping” the work and failing to provide supplies across the region.

Chaphein Fay told reporters that he had gone to the border crossings, where he saw the “rot” aid supplies because the United Nations agencies would not hand them over.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that 700 shipments of aid were waiting to be captured by the United Nations from the crossings.

The United Nations has said it is fighting to capture and distribute supplies due to the ongoing hostilities, Israeli restrictions on humanitarian movements, and fuel shortage.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took hostage.

At least 59,029 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Ministry of Health in the region.
